Hi All, is there usual practice for the left side spacing of swash characters?
I'm wondering if they should:
I'm wondering if they should:
- Overhang the paragraph
- Align, with a little overshoot (zero, minus a little)

I suggest you experiment with some different specimen showings, in different kinds of faux usage. That way, you will be connecting your design choice with functionality and user-appeal. It’s a good way to fine-tune your fonts to potential usage—and to find out what it is in your design that works for you!3

Swash letters may be used within a line of text, so while it is tempting to space them to hang in the margin, you also need to take into account their use at the beginning of words within a line.6
