A list of Arabic / Persian (Farsi) / Urdu, or any other Languages that use Arabic Script, Writing and Calligraphy programs.
if you know more programs please mention them, and I will add them.
Also some good Arabic fonts are added, if you know good arabic fonts please mention and I will added them.

Why Zarnegar and/or Kelk? They are standalone applications!
Why not try the smaller and smarter QalamBartar?

Elaborating: QalamBartar does not only go with Microsoft and Adobe applications that support Arabic-based scripts like Persian, Urdu, Pashto, Sindhi, Saraiki, Kazakh, Uyghur, Punjabi, Khowar (Chitrali), Malay (Jawi), Balochi, Brahui, Kurdi (Kurdish), Kashmiri (Koshur), Kirghiz, Ozbek, Turkmen, Gawri (Kalami) and Pegon, but it does also include the full ligatures possible, at the begining, middle and end.

In my humble opinion indesign+ Tasmeem + qalambartar are the best over all combo (work beautifully together):
1- 10/10: in publishing
2- 9/10: in design (there are some use cases in which you need Kelk/Emashq), so no 10/10 in design
