Font dimensions changed as long vertical height after applying bold effect on entire font

Hi, 
I hope this is the right section to ask this question. I was experimenting to the font to make it little bolder version and applied a bold effect on the entire font with checkbox of keep dimensions. When font exported and check on illustrator it shows like line height is too much big as vertical but the new line is working fine. Can anyone tell me what can be the issue?

I also noticed the dimensions changed in font info section.
