Hi there,

In a near future I am planning to implement some sort of referral program for Retype Foundry. Do you have any advice on how to track referrals on each font sale?

    Are you thinking an affiliate program, or something different, like word of mouth referrals?

    We run our affiliate program much the same way Amazon does. Affiliates can validate the domains they own by placing a html file with a text string in the root of their website directory. Any traffic they send from that domain is linked to that affiliate.

    If affiliates don't own domains, or want to send traffic from other sources (social, etc.), they can add a refby code to the end of the url string (for example, something like ?refby=whatever). We look for that refby code and link that customer with the affiliate.
