The museum has created a giant and unorthodox method of printing Johnston Sans - a 12.5 ton steamroller.
"We're going to make some huge, laser-cut Johnston wood types, ink them up with a really big roller, lay very large sheets of paper over the top, and then drive over it with a steamroller."

The Museum of Printing (formerly in North Andover, MA; soon to be re-opening in Havervill, MA) has usually included a Steamroller Printing event during its Printing Arts Fair each summer.
