Removing glyphs from Fontlab

I have some old Fontlab files I'd like to regenerate without certain glyphs and OT features. Deleting the glyphs and features isn't that simple as the glyphs are included in classes, feature code and in kerning. Any ideas how to delete a selection of glyphs with all references without going trough the code manually?
Maybe another possibility could be to subset the generated desktop OTFs, are there any tools that could do this?

Thanks Jens, can that also remove OT features and class references? I noticed that AFDK mergeFonts can also be used to strip glyphs, but my guess is that it leaves the classes and OT features as they are.0
