Pesteh Perso-Arabic Typeface! (Official Font Release)

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled to share that my Perso-Arabic retail font,  is now officially released!

PESTEH Perso-Arabic typeface is a personal and creative interpretation with a modern look that carries the visual and impression characteristics of the traditional #Nastaliq script. PESTEH strives to bring to the public a combination of traditional beauty and innovation. When classic and traditional calligraphy is combined with modern design.

• with different bends and thicknesses as well as combining corners with delicate, streaming shapes, it gives a new impact and dynamism within the letters, whereas passing on the impression of ease to the open.

The idea of designing functional typefaces that aim to take the rich and important assets of Perso-Arabic calligraphy and look at them in a modern way started in 2014 with the #Iliya Font Kufic Style project.

• And now, PESTEH is another typeface in this exploratory collection by Amir Mesbahi. After a few years of hiatus, it was produced in spring 2024 and its first version is currently being distributed.
