  • Re: [OTVar] Photoshop VF support

Illustrator is one of the worse applications to open a pdf with. It doesn't release the multitude of clipping masks inherent in a pdf, it flattens multilayer pdfs to a single layer, and the list goes on.

But I do agree with all the PS stuff.

Yes, looking at the new screen shot, I do like the step in weights better, Arne!

If anything, I might play with ramping up the regular very little. That would provide a bit more contrast to the light all the while evening out the transition to the semi & bold weights.

    Many thanks, Vasil!
  • Re: FontLab Studio and High Sierra

Our office primarily used Windows in the 1990s. We had a clipboard application installed on all the computers that was network aware.

Items (including files) could be set for one user or all users to see at the time of copy. It was a right-click context menu option.

There's not much new under the sun.
  • Re: Best Foundry Sites

I've never bought fonts because of either online testing or trial licenses. Neither has a cut-down version nor a free style been an inducement. I purchase fonts either because the job dictates it or because I like the shape and glyph coverage I desire or need is present.

How a site looks is also not a consideration to me as long as I can see what I am buying. How well a site works would be an issue to me if the font is available elsewhere.

I may not be the typical font buyer. I dunno.
