Fivos, nice to see you here and commenting. I didn't see this thread when posted.
I am a very happy user of your software. I mostly do layout work with a healthy dose of advertising stuff and often need to match fonts. I would have less hair if not for your Find My Font software.

Illustrator is one of the worse applications to open a pdf with. It doesn't release the multitude of clipping masks inherent in a pdf, it flattens multilayer pdfs to a single layer, and the list goes on.
But I do agree with all the PS stuff.

Our office primarily used Windows in the 1990s. We had a clipboard application installed on all the computers that was network aware.
Items (including files) could be set for one user or all users to see at the time of copy. It was a right-click context menu option.
There's not much new under the sun.
