Can't get autohint to work in FL or via Terminal (FDK 63209, Yosemite)

I'm using Yosemite with FontLab 5.1.4 and fail to successfully run FDK’s AutoHint.py (v2.5 Sep 18 2014 change number 63209). I've followed the instructions for installation of the FDK itself as well as the installFontLabMacros.py but I always get the following message:
The script cannot run the command-line program 'autohintexe'. Please make sure the AFDKO is installed, and the system environment variable PATH
contains the path the to FDK sub-directory containing 'autohintexe'.

When running "autohint -h" via Terminal I get:
/Users/martin/bin/FDK/Tools/osx/autohint: line 18: /Users/martin/bin/FDK/Tools/osx/Python/Current/bin/python: No such file or directory

Thanks,
Martin

James, thanks, in my research I had found that fontlab forum comment but it does not seem to solve my issue. It's strange too that running "autohint" via Terminal would not work. There seems to be a file simply missing/reference to file wrong.
Was Read’s solution working for you?

James, which build are you using. I should give it a try

James it works. I did have the same build but must have done something wrong in the installation process.
